Roosevelt HS: No perceived improvement after Mr. Williams' intervention; more to come.

Alliance/AFT is not happy with the progress made at Roosevelt. The teachers on the ground tell us there was no change after the visit from Leslie Williams.

Although I asked for Mr. Williams' timeline--in writing--I did not get one. He said he was taking all issues seriously, but would not give me a timeline. It seems to be taking too long to address serious issues which are erroding the school.

At the request of Roosevelt teachers, Alliance/AFT will make another board presentaiton at the Jan. 31 meeting.

It will be a long meeting on Thursday.  There will be a lot of unhappy campers at the board meeting....not just from Roosevelt. There will be parents and teachers from Skyline as well.

Alliance/AFT has a reputation of not giving up--even if others have.
